tibetan fox | Vulpes ferrilata

Tibetan fox, also called Tibetan sand fox, is the most recent addition to the list of India's wild canids. The species was first reported from India in 2005. It inhabits the open habitats of India's Himalayas, often spotted in grassy meadows, preying on marmots. It's range within India is restricted to small parts of Sikkim and Jammu-Kashmir.
